Accessories that do not require any additional wrap length:
For Panel Height: With your child seated on the floor, measure from the floor to the nape of your baby's neck, then add approximately 5 centimeters (2 inches).
For Panel Width: With your child seated on the floor, from the back of one knee, around the bum, to the back of the opposite knee. Even better is the same measurement while being carried in a carrier or wrap with your child in the ideal positioning.
Please keep in mind these provide a good estimation of required panel sizing. Consider your experience with Blue Hibou carriers and other brands of carriers in the ideal sizing that your currently using as a guide as well. Only you can determine your needs, based on your child's preferences.
To measure for the ideal shoulder strap length, use a flexible fabric measuring tape. Take the measurement from the back of your shoulder blade, wrapping forwards and around to under your armpit at just above elbow level. This will determine the smallest size you'd want your shoulder strap to cinch down to. The sizing for Blue Hibou shoulder strap lengths are from the shoulder attachment to the panel, down the strap to the bottom buckle level. The smaller number is cinched as tightly as the PFAs will go, and the larger number is with the PFAs fully extended.
